Charltons’ Kim Larkin attended ‘Real-World Assets Get Real: From TradFi to DeFi in Web3’ hosted by the Irish Chamber of Commerce at the very cool crypto enthusiast-founded CLUB DAO in Sheung Wan. Pádraig Seif of Boase, Cohen & Collins, Padraig Walsh of Tanner De Witt and Calvin Crilly of BGA Law shared insights on tokenising real world assets, Hong Kong’s new VASP licensing regime, and the crypto regulatory regimes of Europe, the US, the UK and Dubai in a discussion moderated by Sors Digital Assets’ Stephen Browne. An informative session on Hong Kong’s drive to become an international crypto hub was followed by a lively Q&A session and drinks in CLUB DAO’s excellent bar.
