Kim Larkin was delighted to represent Charltons at the recent meeting of the Asia Pacific law firm members of Legalink, the international network of independent law firms, held in Perth.
The meeting brought together colleagues from across the region and included discussions on:
- The implications and risks of recent legal, policy and regulatory developments in the Mining and Resources sector across APAC
- International arbitration and transnational litigation
- Energy transition in Australia and the opportunities it presents for international investors in ESG and renewables
- Economic trends and investment opportunities in Australia
Tremendous thanks to host Australian member firm Piper Alderman for their generous hospitality and to Simon Venus and his team for putting together such an insightful programme.
Charltons values its continued membership of Legalink, which allows us to draw on a trusted network of independent firms to support our clients’ cross-border transactions and regulatory needs across Asia Pacific and beyond.
We look forward to building on the discussions from Perth and to our continued collaboration with fellow Legalink members.
